·         Drink plenty of filtered water, but limit water to one glass with meals.

·         Eat a variety of seasonal coloured fruit (1-3 pieces a day) and vegetables (3-5 pieces a day), especially green leafy vegetables

·         Vegetables should still be crisp on the inside after cooking

·         Limit red meat to 4 times a week, one vegetarian day per week and eat fish twice a week

·         Frozen foods are great backups to keep in the freezer

·         Where possible use hormone-free meats and avoid meats labelled ‘grain-fed’
